I took this picture of ACT City on our way home today. You can ride up to the top and look at the whole city and ocean. I'm sure we'll do that sometime soon! We had a great day today and are looking forward to this week! Aaron doesn't have to work, so we are just going to explore Japan and also attend the kite festival! Conner and I got our feet wet! It was our first time to ever see the ocean!

It made it!! Now...how long will it stay up there?? Today wasn't a very windy day, so they were working really hard to keep the kite in the air!

Are we having fun yet? It was warm out today and we got some sun! Conner decided that the sand was too hot for his feet, so dad had to carry him! 

A band was there playing music! 

 

Since this is Golden Week this week, there is a big kite festival in our city. They fly these huge kites at the sand dunes and we got to see a few of them practicing today! The kites are huge and take many men to fly them. 

Today we went to the ocean! We went through the Nakatajima Sand Dunes to get there and this was Conner's first experience with sand! 

Conner finally has something to do!!! He got his toys! 

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been over a week since I blogged last! We just don't do many interesting things during the week, so it's pretty much just everyday stuff that you probably don't care to hear about! The sun rises here at about 5am and then sets at around 6:15pm, so we just don't have many pictures to post! Anyway..this was our house last Sunday-a week ago-when we received our first ocean shipment! It took a while because there were some problems with the big truck getting into our little drive....but once we got it all, we actually did find a place for it! We still have one more shipment to get..........this is what our apartment looked like! 

What a wonderful day we had! It was definately one of the best days that we have had so far. All of us had a blast and enjoyed every minute of it all! People here are so wonderful to us and helpful with Conner! We truly had a great day today and we know that there are many more to come! 

Once inside, we all sat around the table and drank coffee and had some chocolate! Conner and the boys played and he watched them play gameboy! 

Dirt is so much fun! 

The weather was nice, and Aaron even got a little sun! But it did turn a little cold, so we decided to all go inside!
