We left Tokyo early this morning because it was still raining and we couldn't do anything. We got home this afternoon to sunny Hamamatsu and the boys took a bike ride! 

Here's our hotel room. It was very small, like they all are!

We took the subway to get around! It was fun and Conner liked it!

This is inside the train station. There are all kinds of stores, restaurants and bakeries! 

We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe with Matt, Debbie and Lonnie (he works with the guys) at the train station. 

Ok, here we are in Tokyo. Traffic moved very slow at first, so all we saw was the back of this bus! 

I took this picture just to prove that we were really there! 

This is at the same place! At least we still had a good view of other mountains! 

This is Mt. Fuji! Can you see it? If you can, let us know. It was so foggy and rainy that we couldn't see it.... This was actually at the Fuji rest stop. They had a really nice building with a look out room to view Mt. Fuji. I'm sure we'll go back there on a better day! 

We went through a lot of these tunnels. Conner loved them! 

Most pictures we took were from the car! I just wanted you to see that we are driving up the mountain!

This is a picture of the mountains that we are about to drive through on our way to Tokyo! Yes, Aaron drove! He did a great job and we got home alive!! He will tell you that driving in Tokyo is interesting...to say the least! It really wasn't bad, though! It took about 3 1/2 hours to get there, and we stopped a few times. Rest stops are very nice here. They have restaurants, shops, restrooms....they are very nice! Unfortunatly, we could not get a good picture of one this time, because of the rain.

Hello! Well, we went to Tokyo this weekend. It rained all weekend long.....it wasn't very enjoyable except that we got to spend time with Matt & Debbie before we left. For those of you who do not know, Matt works with Aaron and they have been here for a year and are going home soon! We did not get very many pictures of Tokyo because of the rain. This picture is a big plane that goes over our house a lot! I just wanted you to see how close they get!! 

 

Conner loves to play in the sand....so do I!

After church we went to the ocean! 

Today was a gorgeous day here in Hamamatsu! We went to church today and we took this picture! This is our church! We are so excited to get to go every Sunday. We really feel like this is our family away from home! Conner stays with us for praise and worship time and today he was singing and clapping his hands! After that, one of us takes him to the playroom and he can play while we listen to the sermon.
