After Himeji Castle, we decided to find the site where Tom Cruise filmed "The Last Samurai." We knew it was on Mt. Shousho, but what we failed to read on the web site was how you could ride a bus up the mountain. Instead, we grabbed walking sticks and climbed it. It took us a good hour and a half and about 6 bottles of water!!
